Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. in the television and film industry, she's known for her nominations and awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, made the move from New York to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after seeing the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. In 1980, Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with the degree of African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. She was married in 1997. got married to Courtney B. Vance who was also an actor. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American study) in the year 1980. The Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
